We were happy to have the opportunity to install American Clay plaster on the ceilings and walls of this beautifully crafted home in Julian, a beautiful, mountainous area of San Diego County. The home is a rebuild from a fire that devastated this area in 2007. All of the trim is milled from a single tree that fell on the owner’s property. The large, exposed beams and high quality finishes make this relatively small home shine.
From a plastering point of view, this job was quite challenging because it was all edges and edges are what take the most time and care. Also, the masking involved was almost a job in itself!
The client chose Sulphur Springs with a skip trowel texture.
